 SELLERS CLOSING COSTS

Listings

Residential Your REALTOR must disclose a good faith estimate of all settlement costs.  You will receive this at the time the REALTOR presents the offer.  The attorney or other entity conducting the closing will give you a more detailed closing cost sheet prior to settlement.  What you will see on the Estimated Closing Costs:
  • Broker's Fee - Commission
  • Transfer Tax - 2% total - 1% paid by the buyer and 1% paid by the seller
  • Attorney or Title Company handling your side of the closing
  • Pro-rations for unpaid association dues and property taxes if applicable.  If these were paid prior to closing, you will be reimbursed.
